“Publicizing the privat<3” is a multimedia installation investigating the ways the public can view private thoughts and mundane everyday experiences. We are entirely shaped by our experiences with others and memories are fragments of what makes up our thoughts. We are like AI – where the information being fed (memories & experiences) determines our outcomes and is generated by spectators wishing to engage. To be a “girl” is to be constantly watched, voyeuristically surveilled. By utilizing ironic wordplay, digital propaganda, and oversharing as spiritual imagery – feel the manifestation of an internal world.

How can we physicalize an uncanny valley within familiar spaces? Are we inherently cyborgs from the publicization of our lives in the cloud? If we grow comfortable with oversharing online, what happens when both the digital and physical spaces are intertwined?
